The Boundary has a well-equipped, 10-metre-long modern dining-kitchen with slate work-surfaces, a large island, dining table to seat 14, and bifold doors opening onto a pretty patio area with built-in barbecue and ample outdoor furniture.

Also on the lower ground floor is a TV/gaming room with a 50" screen, a big lounging sofa and Sky Sports.

Upstairs on the ground floor (front door level) are two more attractive reception rooms for catching up, chilling out, or simply marvelling at the owner's bizarre cricket obsession, manifested by the old books you'll find lying around!

The splendid original sitting room has big sofas, wood-burning stove, a retro sound system which will nevertheless stream your music via bluetooth, and of course another Sky Sports-enabled TV in case there is disagreement about viewing choices.

Next door is the snug, which has a delightful outlook and has been fitted with a stylish flueless gas fire for the chillier months.

There are also board games and a good-sized library for browsing, both in the sitting room and the kitchen.

There is high-speed broadband throughout the building.
