A warm - and only occasionally wet - late-Summer welcome to the Boundary, offering luxury contemporary accommodation in the Lake District.

We offer boutique accommodation in Windermere, within an easy walk of the village of Bowness.  If you can drag yourself out of our welcoming, relaxing surroundings, you’ll find the Boundary guest house is extremely convenient for both the lake and pubs and restaurants in Bowness, and the transport links and shops of Windermere. The aim of the Boundary is to be the perfect place to relax and enjoy the many pleasures of the English Lakes. We offer:

  • Stylish, comfortable accommodation including spacious, individually designed bedrooms and bathrooms, an elegant dining room and cosy places to lounge about, and wireless internet access throughout.
  • Five individually designed en-suite bedrooms, each with sleep-provoking king-sized beds, 26" flat-screen digital TV, hairdryers, i-pod docks, hospitality tray including hand-made biscuits and a range of toiletries including organic soaps from Mother Earth of Grasmere.
  • A variety of toothsome cooked breakfasts, with locally sourced, free-range ingredients (including gluten-free Cumberland sausage) and vegetarian/special diet options
  • Attentive hosts, who are happy to recommend activities, watering holes and eateries close to our contemporary accommodation in Windermere and to arrange transport or other bookings on your behalf as required.
  • Folding bed, cot & high chair available for younger guests.
  • Complimentary use of the luxurious Old England Spa, Bowness
